El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant in Delta

It was delicious atmosphere is also very welcoming.. A busy place.

Horrible service. This the only restaurant we go to when we are in delta and normally they call us by name but this time they got everything wrong the last couple time's. We even too family to show them a nice place but it was a complete disappointment. Never again!

What makes this place better than the typical Mexican food restaurant? Let me list all the reasons we love to eat here... the best, freshest food prepared well, the clean and fun environment, the best Margaritas in Town and the friendliest servers. We go once a week.

Good service authentic Mexican food and the drinks aren't too bad either. Certain food is a bit pricey but if you dont dine out too often it's worth the occasional trip

We're from out of town and took the chance based on the Google reviews. I'm glad we did! We both ordered the Tapatio enchilada trio, which had a chicken/mole, a chicken/cream sauce and a chili Verde enchilada. I couldn't decide which was best, they were all so good. The guacamole was great, too.

I've happily eaten at this restaurant several times just within the last year. I had the Vegetarian Fajitas. They were sweet as if sugar was added. Not good at all. Beyond that, my card was charged twice and the manager could barely speak enough English to handle the situation. I asked for a refund of one transaction and he gave me a slip of paper and wrote void on it. I will dispute the charge with my bank, however the lack of customer service is what will be keeping me from returning. It's sad because I really liked place.

Great service and good food!

This is a date night favorite for my husband and I. They have a wonderful staff and delicious food. Margaritas are a must!

Very good food, very good Mexican style feast, but we sat there for 20 min with no drink refills, or even offers of it.

We went in with 13 kids and 7 adults. They seated is upstairs and their downstairs was packed. Considering how busy they were, the food came fast and was delicious ad always. Thanks guys for the great service.

I really enjoy this restaurant. I think their salsa is great (if you love cilantro) and I really enjoy the carne asada.

Bottom line...tasty. My family has been to this restaurant before and been pleased with the food and service. This time, however, was especially tasty and the service was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the super burrito, fajitas trios, chimichanga verde and super enchiladas. Each meal was pleasing to the eye and taste buds! So much so we talked about it on the way home (we live in a different town). The restaurant was clean with nice decor (I liked the light fixtures). Pretty good margarita too! Overall a great lunch dining experience.

Fast and friendly service even when they are busy, which is almost always. This place is always packed because it's the best Mexican restaurant in town. The food is great. I always get the carne asada. The chile rellanos are super good too. Just an all around great place to go... Great atmosphere. Just can't beat it!

I didn't know mexican food like this existed in this area! Amazing food and atmosphere. Food seems pricey but when you see how much you get it really isn't. Love the chicken chimichangas, rice and beans. The cabbage slaw was pretty good also. Best horchata I have had in a long time!!! Our family will make this our go to Mexican restaurant.

Sadly, this was a bad experience. We usually love coming here, but the night of my birthday was a bad night for them I guess. Service was crazy slow (our waiter didn't even come back to us once during the meal, we had to track down others to get refills on drinks and even our check). Very disappointed!

The food was great but the service was a little slow. It wasn't busy and rarely seen our waitress. It's a bit pricey as well.

I've ate here 2 or 3 times. Orders are always wrong, and the quality of the food isn't worth the high prices. Save yourself the time, hit Taco Garcia instead, and even Taco Time can get the order right with their horrible 60 year old drive thru speaker.

This is a great place to eat in Delta. The food is consistently good and the staff are professional and friendly. I have been in many times and have never had anyone in my party complain about lousy food. Quite the opposite! Definitely one of Delta's top places to dine.

If you are on vacation or not from around Delta, dont stop. Food is awful, expensive for Mexican food and staff is rude. Find another restaurant in town. 225.00 BILL, AND STILL CHARGED ME FOR PLATE THAT WAS SENT BACK.

The restaurant was well lit and clean. They have the best margaritas and serve salsa and chips while you wait for your food. The employees are courteous and took our orders and gave us our drinks. I love the colors they are bright and bold on the seats and tables. They had music and the place is great for people of all ages. They have parking on the main street or public parking close by, The food is very good and was served hot to the table.

I've eaten at Tapatio in Golden and it was very good. This Delta location was a bad experience. The Guacamole was brown looked like, well you know.. I had a combo with a Chicken Flauta and a Bean Tostada. The tostada was soggy. I couldn't pick it up and the Flauta had opened during cooking which caused the chicken to get crispy and burnt. Why do Mexican Restaurants put sauce on everything. Not everything should have sauce on it. Like tostadas. Some people don't like sauce on it and Flautas and Taquitos It makes the food soggy. They try to get all fancy and end up ruining the food. The service was ok. I wont be back to eat there anymore. BTW that was my first time there.

Went on the 4th with my family! Absolutely loved it! Clean fast and freindly with great service, great food, and great beverages. Will be going back.

Good Mexican food, people are friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. Loved the vegetarian options and the traditional salsa & cabbage salsa. Horchata was very flavorful! Side bowl of beans was fantastic! Excellent lunch choice.
